02/04/2019 - JINXBYBIRTHRIGHTBought a Single Family home in 2018 in Crossville, TN.I was so pleased to have BJ Brown as my agent. He was recommended to me, and I will recommend him to others. I was the buyer, living in TX and buying in TN. And the seller was in Florida most of the time. My home was their summer home. When I first contacted BJ, I sent him the Zillow properties  I was interested in viewing and described what I was looking for. When I went to TN to see the properties with BJ, he had several additional properties to see that were what I was looking for. After I made my decision and started the process BJ was on the ball as My Representative, remember, I am back in TX throughout this process. He was in contact with me, the selling agent and my Lender for the process. He was advising me of things I needed to get started, Inspections, appraisals, re-inspections and re-appraisals etc... in order to keep the process moving smoothly. My process took longer than the normal, not because of BJ by any means. Just the opposite. My process required multiple "post contract" negotiations on, price and repairs to be made by seller. BJ made all the communications between the sellers and their agent and myself quickly and efficiently. BJ communicated with me through the process like he was my family, and always had my best interest in mind during all the decisions. No matter how many times he had to explain something to me, on the phone or in person. Although technically all realtors work for the seller, I really felt BJ had my back as the buyer. He would  mention points to think about with every house we looked at, never recommending one way or the other, but giving me facts to think about; and I was out out of the country except for 2 days in the whole 3 month long purchase! I hadn’t even seen the house until I flew up for the closing date, and I absolutely LOVED the house. Now THAT’S a realtor you can trust!

I didn’t have a certain area that I was interested in because I am moving from another state to retire. Needless to say, Mr Brown spent many hours traveling from Gatlinburg to Mancheste, Tn. He showed me at least 30 homes. Yes, I’m not  easy to please but Mr. Brown has patience and understanding for his clients. If you are uncertain of exactly what you are looking for or just want an agent that cares about the folks that he serves, Mr. B.J. Brown is the guy you want. My opinion is Mr. Brown is by far the best agent that I have ever worked with in my 60+ years.
